Calgary Herald supports Israel

Yesterday I posted my opposition to Israeli policy. So much so that I would sanction Israel given the power to do so. But corporate media in Calgary disagrees. Yesterday's political cartoon in the Calgary Herald blames dissidents, and not Israeli beligerance, for the area's angst:

America, of course, supports Israel.

Canada should introduce Rogue Nation legislation. A nation is rogue when it defies two or more UN resolutions AND creates ghettos of resident populations. Such legislation would:

• ban imports and exports to such a nation;
• prevent travel to and from it;
• freeze bank accounts of all known inhabitants and corporations of that nation;
• no mail or communications to or from;
  
• no entry to Canada of its residents; and
• heavy fines or imprisonment for Canadians traveled to it.
  

The first rogue nation would be, of course, Israel.
